A productivity companion that remembers where you left off
Most to-do apps wait until you open them, then show you everything at once. Morrow comes with a small cloud that does part of the remembering for you. It hands you the day in the morning, helps when you ask, and closes the day with you in the evening.
No card needed.
In short
- A productivity companion helps you decide and remember, instead of only storing your tasks.
- Morrow’s companion is a small cloud in the corner of the app. It reacts to what you do, and it never nags.
- In the morning: a brief with what you finished, where you left off and what is on today. In the evening: two minutes to close the day.
- It suggests, and you decide. It never sends anything for you, and most of what it says comes from your own board, without AI.
What is a productivity companion?
A to-do list stores what you have to do. A companion also helps with the parts around it: choosing, remembering, starting and stopping. It is closer to a calm colleague than to a coach. It does not grade you. It keeps track, so you do not have to.
Many apps now call themselves a companion or an assistant. A simple test helps: does it help you decide what to do today, and does it leave that decision with you?
In the morning: your day, handed back
The first time you open Morrow after seven in the morning, the cloud asks if you want your brief. Say yes, and you see what you finished yesterday, the cards you were working on and did not finish, and what is on today. Turn on notifications and the brief can reach you before you even open the app.
During the day: help when you ask
Not sure what to pick? Press Help me choose, and the cloud suggests a few cards, each with a reason you can check. Inside a card, it can improve your words, organize a messy note, translate it, or break a big task into steps. Every change is shown first and waits for your yes.
In the evening: close the day together
At the end of your workday, the cloud asks if you want to close your day. It takes about two minutes: what you finished, what happens to what is left, and what tomorrow holds. Then it says good night, and you can close your laptop.
It notices, quietly
- A card that is stuck. When a card has not changed for weeks, it tells you how long, and offers to break it into small steps.
- Coming back. After some time away, it says hello and names the card you last worked on, so you know where to pick up.
- Days that add up. On your seventh and your thirtieth closed day, it is a little proud of you.
- Your patterns. Progress shows when in the day you get the most done and how much really fits in your days. The more you use Morrow, the clearer this gets.
What it will not do
- No streaks, no points, no guilt and no red badges.
- It never sends a message or a mail for you.
- It does not plan your hours. It helps you choose what to do, and leaves when to you.
- It does not keep what goes to AI. Only what one request needs is sent, and nothing of it is stored.
- Its reminders are yours to switch off. The morning brief and the close-your-day reminder each have their own switch.
Questions
Is the companion a chatbot?
No. There is no chat window. The cloud talks in short notes and offers buttons with clear names, like Help me choose or Close the day. You always know what pressing one will do.
What does it remember about me?
Only what is on your own board: what you finished, what has been waiting and what has not moved in a while. Most of that is worked out on your device, without AI. You can export or delete everything whenever you like.
Where is my data stored?
Your account, board and pictures are stored in Frankfurt, Germany. Morrow is made in the Netherlands.
Can I use it for work and for my personal life?
Yes. Give each part of your life its own project on one board, and choose a few cards from all of them for today.
